ANNOUNCING: The "Roadrunner Calendar Raffle"
This year we have elected to hold a Calendar Raffle fundraiser to benefit our school for the 2010-2011 school year. "What makes a Calendar Raffle different than other raffles?". Every school morning between October 26 and December 3, a winning ticket will be drawn for the prize that day. On Fridays there will be 2 winners. Once a winning number is drawn, that number returns into the bucket with all tickets, so that number is eligible to win again! We will raffle 29 prizes over 24 days. A schedule of the prizes for each day is attached to each ticket.
We are asking each student to sell at least 3 Raffle Tickets. Tickets are only $10.00.
Of course, anyone can sell more than 3 tickets. As a matter of fact, we are giving you 5 tickets to start with and we will Award Prizes for the following 3 categories:
1. The student who sells the MOST tickets will win a $100 gift card to Toys R Us.
2. Students who sell a minimum of 3 tickets by the dates below will have their name in a drawing for a $50 gift card to Toys R Us:
- October 18: for the first 3 tickets turned in, w/payment, student's name will go into the drawing 5 times. For every ticket over 3, student's name will go into the drawing 2 more times.
- October 26: for the first 3 tickets turned in, w/payment, student's name will go into the drawing 3 times. For every ticket over 3, student's name will go into the drawing 1 more time.
ANY STUDENT CAN SELL MORE THAN 3 TICKETS IF THEY DESIRE - THE MORE YOU SELL, THE MORE TIMES YOUR NAME GOES INTO THE DRAWING!!! To Request additional tickets, use the cut out at the bottom of the page. Additional tickets can be requested after 5 tickets, with payment, are turned in.
Additional Prizes may be offered based on contributions.
3. The Classes with 100% Student Participation will win a special celebration. Participation means selling at least three tickets.
The deadline to turn in tickets to be eligible for individual prizes is October 26. Tickets can continue to be turned in after the raffle starts, however, this will limit the number of chances the ticket holder has to win a prize. Tickets turned in after October 26 will still count towards class participation. The last day to turn in tickets is Monday, November 1.
